This policy explains what ReclaimOn stores, where it lives, and the few cases where data leaves your device — always through Apple's own services, and always because you asked for a feature that requires it.
What ReclaimOn stores
Everything below is written to a private database on your device (Apple's SwiftData, in an app group container shared only with ReclaimOn's own widgets and extensions):
- Your display name and profile photo, if you set one.
- Goals you create, their weekly targets, and their categories.
- Habit anchors: name, time window, days, and the place you pin on the map (as coordinates and a place name).
- Sessions: start time, duration, how it went, and any note you add.
- Records of when a blocked app was opened during an anchor window, used to show you your own patterns.
Permissions, and what each one is for

Every one of these is optional. Decline any of them and the rest of ReclaimOn still works; the feature that needed it simply stays off.
Focus Pacts — the one feature that leaves your device
If you choose to start a Focus Pact with someone, that pact and its check-ins sync through your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit sharing, so you and the person you invited can both see it. This is the only ReclaimOn data that leaves your device.
- Only the pact itself is shared: its name, type, check-ins, and streak. Your other goals, anchors, sessions, location and health data are never included.
- It's shared only with the specific person you invite, and you can stop sharing at any time.
- It travels through Apple's iCloud infrastructure under Apple's privacy policy. There's no ReclaimOn server involved, and we have no ability to read it.
If you never create a pact, no ReclaimOn data ever leaves your device.
Subscriptions
ReclaimOn offers a 21-day free trial and an optional paid subscription. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your payment details. The date your trial began is stored in your device's Keychain so the trial isn't restarted by reinstalling the app.
What we don't do
- No analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs. There are none in the app.
- No tracking, no advertising identifiers, no profiling, no data sold or shared with data brokers.
- No ReclaimOn accounts, passwords, or cloud profiles.
- No sale or sharing of personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We have nothing to sell.
Your control
- See it: everything ReclaimOn knows is visible in the app.
- Change it: edit or delete any goal, anchor, or session at any time.
- Erase it: Settings includes "Delete All Data", which clears the on-device database. Deleting the app also removes it.
- Revoke it: withdraw Screen Time, Location, Health, or Notification access at any time in iOS Settings.
- Take it: because data is local, it's included in your normal encrypted device or iCloud backup.
Under GDPR and similar laws you have rights of access, correction, erasure, and portability. Because ReclaimOn holds no copy of your data, you exercise all of these directly in the app — there's nothing for us to retrieve or delete on your behalf.
Children
ReclaimOn is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. Because the app stores nothing off-device, no such data reaches us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it, and material changes will be noted in the app.
